Though originally conceived as a martial art, it is also typically practiced for a variety of other personal reasons: competitive wrestling in the format of pushing hands (tui shou), demonstration competitions, and achieving greater longevity. As a result, a multitude of training forms exist, both traditional and modern, which correspond to those aims with differing emphasis. Some training forms of t'ai chi ch'uan are especially known for being practiced with relatively slow movements. Steve incorporates these techniques to assist partners in their relating with one another to form stronger bonds as well as developing trust and learning to move in harmony.

-stimulate the lymphatic system and strengthen the Wei Qi or defensive Qi

If your child gets sick frequently or suffers from other immune challenges such as allergies, eczema, asthma, or has digestive upset this technique is invaluable! The Art of Lucid Dreaming with Clare Gorres

Learn techniques to become more aware of when you're inside a dream, so you can alter your dreams and control your fate. Many dream elements are recurring and offer us the opportunity to develop our understanding of self-within-the-world. We'll talk about our most common dreams and choose specific methods to maneuver in them.

Workshop 8-10pm, followed by slumber practice.

An energetic container will be set for your brain to remember to check your state of consciousness. (You may opt to sleep at home if you wish.)

5:30am Reminder of lucid dreaming (optional).
6:30am Lucidity prompt, then wake up. Light breakfast and reflection until 8am.

Singing Bowl Sound Meditation the Paul Rudy

We will listen and commune with Crystal and Metal singing bowls, and toning, to tune into the season and dance with the healing energies of sound vibration. 

It can be said that illness is a manifestation of dis-harmony within the body—an imbalance in the cells or a given organ. Since matter is energy vibrating at different rates, by altering the rate of vibration we can change the structure of matter. Sound from Singing Bowls guide the brain to move into the Theta brain wave frequencies that induce deep meditative and peaceful states, clarity of mind, and intuition.  The sound vibrations impact our nervous system, engaging our relaxation reflex and inhibiting the stress or pain response.
