Living the Dao: Effortless Weight Loss with Chinese Medicine
This 6 Week Course is a Beginner's Introductory Course to the Daoist understanding of Health, Weight Loss, Nutrition and Basic Qi Gong Exercise. If you have struggled with dieting and weight loss and are ready for a major shift in the way you view your body, your relationship with food, and how to achieve optimal health this is a great class for you! Each week will focus on each of the 5 Elements in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as nutritional and emotional aspects associated with each Organ System, mindfulness practices, Qi Gong exercises and recipes will be shared!
Week 1 - Introduction to Daoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine
Week 2 - Spleen/Stomach and Earth Element
Week 3 - Lungs/Large Intestine and Metal Element
Week 4 - Kidney/Bladder and Water Element
Week 5 - Liver/Large Intestine and Wood Element
Week 6 - Heart/Small Intestine and Fire Element
Class will occur over 6 recurring Thursdays - please commit to coming each week as each lesson will build on the previous!
